It is a colossal statue, standing 98 feet (30 meters) tall (without its base, with 26 feet (8 meters) high) its arm has a span of 92 feet (28 meters). The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum complex located in Agra, India.  It is the finest example of Mughal architecture and the world's most iconic monuments. During the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal was built to honor his wife, Mumtaz Maḥal, who died after giving birth to their 14th child in 1631. It took 20,000 workers and 22 years to construct the complex. The Taj Mahal was built with white marble that features semi-precious stones in floral and geometric patterns.
