Tucker: Conquering the Sights, Sounds and Senses in Atlanta
Tucker, GA is a tourist destination in DeKalb County that is a region awarded to a Scottish young man who made a name during the Indian Wars. Greenville Henderson was rewarded for his valiant services to the region and was given 3,000 hectares of land by the Governor of Georgia during the 1800s and later became the Tucker region we know now. Also known as the “Main Street Tucker”, the region was originally planned to be developed as a railroad town that never materialized. Home to the Stone Mountain Park, its is also the birthplace and yearly venue for the Movie Tavern Northlake Festival. Reach the region via the Fulton County Airport and the DeKalb Peachtree Airport.

Tucker, Georgia can be best enjoyed without breaking the bank during July when the crowd begins to thin out after the busy months of May to June. August and October also offers a great weather to enjoy the outdoors.
