Best Time to Visit
If you only have a short time to visit Atlanta, make sure to drop by the Georgia Aquarium or choose among the top theme parks in the area. Summer months, from May to September, see the highest influx of tourists; but the city is really a year-round destination with lots of options to do for all ages. With its historic importance, the 4th of July is a big event that draws lots of tourists that quickly fill out Atlanta, GA hotels; make sure to book early.
