Austell, GA is a city in the Cobb County that is accessible through Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport. The city is named after General Alfred Austell, one of the major proprietors of the construction of the railways in the Southern portion of the United States. General Austell was also the founder of the Atlanta National Bank that eventually became part of Wells Fargo after mergers and acquisitions throughout the generations.
