Best Time to Visit
Visiting Stone Mountain year-round is always a good idea depending upon your budget. Summer is great as a lot of festivals and events are happening from May to August, including the Fantastic Fourth Celebration. Lodging and accommodations, however, tend to be much more expensive. Get here from September to November and enjoy other events like Spring Fun Break at comfortable temperatures, more reasonable hotel deals and fewer crowds. Don't forget to pack your umbrella though as there are occasional thunderstorms during this season.
