Home of the historic Hotel Roberts, the biggest and grandest hotel in the early 1930s, Pratt, KS is located in Pratt County, Kansas, United State where it also serves as its county seat. The establishment of Hotel Roberts was launched by the Pratt Chamber of Commerce in the hopes of bringing forth an economic breakthrough for the city. Pratt, KS was named in honor of Caleb Pratt, an officer during the Civil War who unfortunately met his demise at the Battle of Wilson's Creek in Springfield, MO.
