Pros: I have taken a more hands on approch to selecting my rooms for the future. Traveling from Wisconsin to Arizona I chose Pratt Kansas because if is a low crime easy to get to location and I feel safe in Pratt. I chose the Baymont because of the selection of room beds, I wanted a King bed and the reviews. When I got to the hotel I aske to see the room first to make sure it was "clean" to my expectations. I purchased a black light flash light on Amazon and when I entered the room I left the lights off first and view the carpet, walls, bed and finally the bathroom for stains under the black light. Black light in a dark room will show stains from urine, (pet) and human biological stains and a lack of cleaning. An unvacumed room will show all the contamination that should have been picked up. The bathroom will show stains from human waste and show a lack of cleaning. I can tell all of you that the room was hospital clean. Outsanding. The cleaning staff is top knotch. The bathroom was clean and sanitized, the carpet was free of any stains. I was impressed. I would not hesitate in staying at this hotel again. Great Staff, awesome from desk crew and the breakfast was top knotch. Lastly, tip your cleaning person who services your room. They work hard and when the room exceeds your expectations leave them 2-3 dollars per person as a thank you for their hard work. And how ard is it to leave the room with them towels in the bathroom on the floor after they are used and make their job a little easier. They have a lot to do everyyday, Yours is not the only room they have to clean. And before I forget tip the morning breakfast perparer. They get up much earlier than you so you can have a great breakfast at 6am. A couple of bucks will not break the bank and will show them how much you appreciate their effort to get up early and serve you.
