Kingwood: Parks, Nature Adventures and Enticing Dining Options
Serviced by the William P. Hobby Airport and the Sugar Land Regional Airport, Kingwood, TX is a town created through a joint venture. Established in 1971, the region was developed by the King Ranch and the Friendswood Development Company. The city’s name, Kingwood, was derived from these two entities that spearheaded the creation of the village. The region received the slogan “The Livable Forest” and started to receive a few thousand residents five years after its establishment, 1976. The area is now included in the Harris County and made it to the list of the best places to live in Texas.
