Nestled beside the San Francisco Bay and a few miles away from the San Francisco International Airport, Brisbane, CA is a small town of just over 4,000 residents. Located in San Mateo County, California, United States, Brisbane sits on the slopes of San Bruno Mountain and is famously referred to as the City of Stars because of the huge, lighted stars home and business owners place on the downhill side of their properties during the Holidays. Brisbane was originally inhabited by the Costanoan tribe where they created dome-shaped homes. Today, Brisbane is home to industrial parks and office facilities that increases Brisbane's population to almost double during daytime as commuters from nearby towns and cities fill-up its main thoroughfares, restaurants, and hotels.

The climate of Brisbane, California can be described as moderate, with warm summers and pleasant winters. Although travel to this city is possible all year-round, the most ideal time to go is in August when temperatures hover around the high 60s and hotel prices are reasonable. The town sees the highest influx of tourists in July, so guests are recommended to book accommodations at least 3 months prior.
