About Luna Hoteis & Resorts Vila Pouca da Beira
Luna Hotels & Resorts is a Portuguese hotel chain managing 14 properties distributed across Portugal and one in Luanda, Angola. The chain founded in 2006 was a merger of existing properties, including business and leisure hotels, a beach resort, and golf clubs. Its operations are grounded on three essential principles – dimension, quality, and diversity. As a hotel management group, Luna Hotels & Resorts is engaged in investing, creating, managing, and offering a broad range of services for the corporate and sports sectors and the entire family.
On March 2018, the hotel group embarked on a massive renovation of the Hotel Turismo de Tábua as it aimed to strengthen its presence in Portugal’s central region. The Tourism of Funds backed the project. The property will be closed for over three years as it will undergo an extensive reformation aimed at creating a differentiated brand for the region. The 74-room hotel features various facilities including a bar, restaurant, business center, car park, outdoor pool, and indoor heated pool.
The latest addition to the group was the four-star Luna Hotel Turismo which opened its doors on June 2017. The 44-room hotel sits next to the magnificent Tagus River and is surrounded by plains.
