Catering primarily to the public, their hotels have three categories: Business Hotels, Boutique Hotels, and All-Suites Residences Hotels. This earned them the title of an all-inclusive hotel, welcoming families, groups, and businessmen.

Mamaison was founded by Jean-Francois Ott in 1991 but the first hotel opened its door to the public in 1999. The old-world architecture of the buildings are because they are historical architectures. For example in 2001, Ott bought the compelling Pachtuv Palace which is now part of the chain’s 9 hotels after extensive renovation spanning 3 years. Extended stays are also welcomed through the Hotel Masaryk brand which welcomes long-term travelers through their self-contained suites.

In an effort to maintain their quality service, Mamaison also just recently reconstructed their Andrassy Budapest bathrooms, added more apartments in Bratislava, and even added a fitness center in their Warsaw location.
