Tuzla International Airport – TZL
Tuzla International Airport is an international airport located in Dubrave Gomje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the second largest airport in the city following the Sarajevo International Airport. This airport works under the IATA code TZ and the ICAO code LQTZ. It serves Tuzla Canton, one of the 10 Cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Owned by the local government, TZL is operated by the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation. It sits at an elevation of 765 feet above mean sea level. There is one runway and it has an asphalt surface. In 2018, the airport handled over 500,000 passengers and more than 4,000 aircraft movements.

The airport was once the largest military airport in Yugoslavia. After the wars, it was certified for public use and started to cater to chartered and scheduled flights. The passenger terminal was built in the 1990s. Renovation and expansion plans have been in the works sine 2016. Budget has been allocated. Wizz Air is the main airline that operates regularly scheduled flights from Tuzla International Airport. Top destinations include Berlin, Cologne, and Freidburg. Freebird Airline also operates seasonal flights to Antalya. Cities, towns, villages, and suburbs found near the airport include Brcko, Gornje Dubrave, Donje Vukovije, Tojsici, and Svojat.
