Tyler Pounds Regional Airport, Texas, USA (TYR) is a public airport owned by the local government of Tyler. From 2011 through 2015, the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems considered it as a primary commercial service airport. It houses the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum (HAMM) at the old passenger terminal. The museum features military jet fighters along with other aviation exhibits. Two (2) MIG-17F jets are maintained at HAMM as well.

When it opened to the public in 1929, Tyler Pounds Regional Airport was known as Tyler Municipal Airport. It was used by the US Army Air Forces as a training base during World War II (WWII). During the said period, it was known as Pounds Field− after Lt. Jack Windham Pounds. After WWII, operations of the airport were turned over to the local government. As part of this, it was renamed into Tyler Pounds Regional Airport. Situated at a 1,200-acre property, the airport has three (3) runways. These measure 7,802-foot long, 5,200-foot long, and 4,832-foot long, respectively. In 2011, the airport had a total of 48,677 aircraft movements. Currently, American Eagle and Frontier Airlines have operations at the airport. Visit nearby towns and cities close to the airport include the Holly Lake Ranch, Lindale and Winona.
