Strathmore: A Charming Flourishing Town in Southern Alberta
Strathmore is a town situated next to the Trans-Canada Highway in Southern Alberta in Canada. This former hamlet for the Canadian Pacific Railway, whose name was after one of CPR’s benefactors, Claude Bowes-Lyn, the Earl of Strathmore, was now an important agricultural community. There have also been a number of oil and gas explorations in Strathmore in the recent years. Come 21th century, the town has seen remarkable growth in commercial industry, with various franchise restaurants and big-box chain stores launching within the community.
