Segerstrom Center for the Arts is formerly called Orange County Performing Arts Center. It is a performing arts facility located in Costa Mesa, California. The center opened its doors in 1986. Both Segerstrom Hall and Judy Morr Theater were designed by Charles Lawrence. Other buildings in the complex like the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, Samueli Theater and the Lawrence and Kristina Dodge Education Cente opened its door to the public in 2006. The complex has received numerous awards and honors. Segerstrom Center for the Arts is the home of companies like Pacific Chorale and Pacific Symphony. The main venue which is the Segerstrom Hall has a capacity of 3,000 seats. It is an opera house style of theater that hosts performances like musicals and ballets.
