Hans Christian Andersen Airport (ODE) is a small airport serving the Danish city of Odense. Named after the famous Danish author, it is sometimes called Beldringe Lufthavn because it is situated in the village of Beldringe some 4.5 miles north-northwest of the city. ODE Airport had its beginnings as a military field in the early 1940s during the German occupation of Denmark.The current terminal building and tower were built in the ‘70s.
