Miami Springs: Mansion, Spring Hotels and Delicious Restaurants
Miami Springs, FL was founded by Glenn Curtiss, the ”Father of Naval Aviation”. The city rose to fame for its famous “land boom” back in the 1920s. Back in the days, the region was known as the Country Club Estates. Serviced by FXE-Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport and the MIA-Miami International Airport, the city’s name was based from a Native American tribe living around the region during the 17th or 18th century - Mayaimi. As the Florida East Coast Railway expanded to Miami, commerce and settlers began to flourish in the area. Enjoy the small-town flavor of the area with mansions and historical landmarks to enjoy.
