Loreto International Airport – LTO Loreto

An international airport operated by Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares, Loreto International Airport with airport code LTO, is situated in Loreto City, within the Baja California Sur Municipality in Mexico. Owned by the government,  the main airlines serving the airport is Alaska Airlines, which is bound to Los Angeles, Clafia Airlines which is bound to Guadalajara, Hermosillo, Guaymas, Tijuana and La Paz, San José del Cabo, Volaris which is bound to Tijuana and WestJet which is seasonally bound to Calgary.

LTO - Loreto International Airport conducts international and local flights, its runway with a high tolerance of handling big aircrafts like Airbus A320s and Boeing 737. Handling 85,063 passengers in 2017, a runway measuring 2,200 meters would fit the bill. Its above mean sea level elevation is at 10 meters. Rosarito is a nearby city in LTO Loreto. People can tour around Cava Las Animas de La Vid, Rosarito Beach and Baja Sand for the annual festival of sand sculptures when they visit the city.
