Now headquartered in Berkhamsted, the Corus Hotels continues to serve with unparalleled services even after the huge issue of maître d’ Elena Salvoni’s retirement on the same day the government announced plans to remove the default retirement age in 2010. Ms. Salvoni was 90 years old. The news made the national newspaper as Corus Hotels was best known for the maître d’s service.
