The Centennial Airport in Dove Valley is owned by the Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority, and given a code of APA.  The public airport runs 15 nautical miles southeast of Denver, Colorado in the US. Then known as the Arapahoe County Airport, it was renamed in 1984 to signal Colorado’s admission to the Union as the 38th state in the 1876 United States Declaration of Independence.
