Swiss hospitality at its best.

Pros: The decor of the property was very traditional throughout the public spaces but the rooms were really modern. The staff were well prepared for our arrival and were very professional and friendly. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of buffet style items but also freshly made to order omelettes and pancakes. Location was great. A short walk (less than 10 minutes) to the main train station and gornergrat train. The weather was kind to us and we were lucky to have a spectacular view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. I would definitely stay here again. Couldnt fault it.

Pros: Location is very good, just in front of the river and the funicular. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Cons: We booked a room with Matterhorn view but got the room on the first floor where the mountain was only visible from the corner of our balcony, therefore for us not worth to pay the extra price. Hotel is old, you can specially see that in the furnitures in the room. Breakfast was ok but not many choices for vegans/vegetarians.

Awesome family friendly hotel with spectacular view.

Pros: hospitality at its best. super attentive and friendly staff. amenities are best. breakfast is awesome. nice family room - our kid enjoy the unique upper room; welcome fruit and chocolate is a nice touch. provide shuttle to the taxi hub. last but not least, spectacular view: the Matterhorn.

Pros: Location and Views were great.

Cons: The lights switches didnt work. The first night had to sleep with lights ON. It was bad very bad. The 2nd night some of the switches worked but it was so hot and no fan.

This a great hotel and great value!

Pros: The room was fantastic and very comfortable. We had a great view of the Matterhorn.

Cons: Our only complaint was the pillows, the Bed was amazing the pillows were one inch thick. In the morning I complemented the staff on our amazing stay, however, the pillows I said, they stopped me and said we know. They felt bad and said they have much better pillows if you call the desk. It sounds like a situation where a designer or someone made the hotel use the pillows.They were pretty but awful to sleep on. So just call the desk and get a pillow upgrade

Great family hotel with good food as long as you do not have allergies. Amazing location

Pros: Superb breakfast with pancakes and eggs done anyway that you want them. Loads of croissants, ham, cheese and jams, Bircher muesli and orange juice

Cons: Lack of choice for my wife who is gluten free and dairy free. Had to buy her own oat milk and gluten free bread (hotels one was very dry).
