Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts was established in 2010 and was born ad an expansion of the Martinhal hospitality brand and concept. The brand has always been about family vacations, and they flavor it with luxury, design, and genuine services. A family with a couple celebrating a decade of their marriage said that this hotel chain in Portugal was a brilliant solution to their varying ideas of a good anniversary getaway. They chose the original Sagres in the Algarve, which is one of the first establishments of the extended company. With further research, the couple also found that the company was built also by a couple, entrepreneurs Roman and Chitra Stern. They moved from London to settle in Western Algarve, and have always envisioned becoming one of the providers of Europe’s best luxury family accommodations. The couple felt even more connected with the hotel. They said that the memories they made here with their kids are going to be one for the books.
