About City Express Plus Hotels Texcoco de Mora
City Express Plus is one of the five differentiated brands managed by Mexico-based limited service hotel chain, Hoteles City Express (City Express Hotel). The hotel chain is targeted at domestic business travelers, offering high-quality and affordable lodging. It currently has 140 hotels representing more than 160,000 rooms in 30 states and 69 cities in Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, and Colombia.
City Express Plus Hotels are one grade higher than the existing City Express Hotels and targeted at business and commerce travelers, including congresses. They are strategically located at central business districts, main roads, industrial parks, airports, and popular attractions. The latest addition to the brand is the Hotel City Express Plus Tampico which opened its doors in 2018 with 126 available rooms. It was developed under a co-investment model. Other City Express Plus Hotels which opened last year include City Express PlusCancúnAeropuerto and City Express Plus Interlomas with 122 and 141 available rooms, respectively.
The four other brands of City Express Hotels serving various segments of its target market are City Express, City Express Junior, City Express Suites, and City Centro. The hotel chain completed its initial public offering in June 2013 and started trading on the Mexican Stock Exchange.
