About Guesthouse Inns Tacoma
Guesthouse Inn is originally constructed in 1925 at Ajo, Arizona by Phelps Dodge Corporation to accommodate visiting company officials. It was designed by the world renowned architectural firm Lecher & Mahoney putting all the modern conveniences it can offer. It features a huge dining room, four big bedrooms with bathrooms, sleeping porches and a kitchen. The mine closed years ago after the town was hit by a harsh winter causing the house to be abandoned.
In 1985, after seeking retreat to the crowded city life, the property was purchased by the Walker Family. It was renovated, refurbished and refurnished and opened to the public as the Guest House Inn, a Bed & Breakfast. The sleeping porches have been transformed into sunny, window-lined hallways that go along two sides of the house just beside the guestrooms. They serve as shared sitting rooms, where magazines are neatly stacked on a teeter.
The Guesthouse Inn is close just a new minutes to one of the most stunning attraction in Ajo, Arixona such as the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge that provide visitors the chance to see some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Southwest.
