Poznan – Lawica Airport is situated 3.1 miles west of the city center of Poznan, Poland. The airport was built in 1913 and is considered one of the oldest airports in Poland. The neighboring town, Lawica, which is part of the Grunwald district of the city, shares its name. The airport’s location, however, is in Jezyce district. It is run by Poznan Lawica Airport Ltd. Often, the airport is confused with Poznan-Krzesiny Airbase.
