Pluak Daeng: A City of Pineapples, Peace, and History
Pluak Daeng, a district within the province of Rayong, is composed of six sub-districts and 34 villages. It was initially under the rule of Ban Khai District but became a full district in 1979. Pluak Daeng, along with the other districts in the Rayong Province, celebrates the annual Fruit Festival, which is typically held months from April to June. Depending on the schedule for the year, Pluak Daeng’s Sweet Pineapple Days is hosted either in April or in May. This is the perfect time of year for the celebration since the summer season is right around the corner. Tourists and locals alike flock to the city during the event, so expect only expensive Pluak Daeng, Thailand hotels.
