Monroe Regional Airport is an airport made for public use located in Ouachita Parich, Louisiana in the United States. It is situated three miles from the central business district of Monroe and primarily serves Monroe, Louisiana. The public airport is owned by the City of Monroe. It is often marketed as the birthplace of Delta Air Lines, which is why the airports logo can be found in the Delta logo. In 1942, the airport was used as a cadet-training center during the World War II and was previously named Selman Army Field.
