About Steigenberger BY Deutsche Hospitality Johannesberg
Steigenberger is a hotel and resorts brand owned by the formerly known Steigenberger Hotel Group. Now operating as Deutsche Hospitality, the company has kept a good reputation for the services of Steigenberger Hotel & Resorts over the years since Albert Steigenberger founded it in 1930. The name of the original founder was only renamed upon the acquisition of it by Travco Group, and Egyptian travel and tourism company, in mid-2009. The official rebranding took place in 2016 when the Deutsche Hospitality label was used to operate the existing Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts and three more hotel brands. The company has 150 hotels in 20 countries on 3 continents as of late. Such an exceptional portfolio even has about 30 more hotels currently being developed.
With the worldwide operations of the Steigenberger hotel brand alone, the company is undoubtedly set to cover more locations in the near future. As of 2007 the company was already worth $5.5 million in revenue. That was when the group hasn’t made drastic increases in each of their brands’ coverage just yet. The following years after that were filled with new construction announcements and successful property establishments. By 2017, the European company has already extended managements in more Arabic states other than the Egypt.
