Located six kilometers south of Fayetteville, North Carolina’s central business district, Fayetteville Regional Airport is a public use airport that serves the Fayetteville metropolitan area as well as southeastern North Carolina. Also known as Grannis Field, it is owned by the city of Fayetteville and run by the Fayetteville Airport Commission.

Covering an area of 1,343 acres (543 hectares), Fayetteville Regional Airport operates with two asphalt runways. The 4/22 measures 7,709 x 150 feet (2,350 x 46 meters) and the 10/28 is 4,801 x 150 feet (1,463 x 46 meters). FAY’s terminal has two concourses. Concourse A has three gates that serve commercial turboprop and charter aircraft, while Concourse B has four gates with jetbridges for serving regional jets and full size aircraft. Airline ticket counters and baggage claim can be found on the ground floor, while security and access to gates are on the second. FAY-Fayetteville Regional Airport is serviced by two main airlines - US Airways Express with daily service to its Charlotte hub, and Delta Air Lines with daily service to its Atlanta hub. It is an ideal airport for visitors heading to Dunn and Hope Mills.
