Based in Munich, Ringhotels is a German hotel cooperation with up to 159 affiliated hotels, making it the largest German cooperation that is a part of the private hotel sector. It was founded in January 1973 with the goal of offering a contrast to the large, multi-national hotel chains found across the country. Ringhotels is currently a member of the Global Alliance of Private Hotels. Ringhotels are found all throughout Germany as well as in a number of neighboring countries.

Several historically significant manors and castles are also part of the cooperation’s portfolio as part of the German Castles brand.
