    Pros: It's a fine location, but as it is an older, traditional building, windows aren't sealed, just covered with slats, so I could hear staff shouting to each other often. Be aware that I am very sensitive to noise, so this could still work for someone else.

    A very nice hotel in a great location with very friendly staff and attentive service.

    Pros: The staff were very friendly and diligent. The hotel is very well run. The roof top terrace with great views of Puerto Vallarta is a very nice place to spend time and meet other guests.
    Cons: The hotel was somewhat noisy at times, I was there at a busy time and there was a lot of activity from other guests late at night, etc., coming and going.

    Pros: Quieter location in a neighborhood that can be noisy. Very close to good restaurants, Isla de Rio Cuale. Very walkable neighborhood.
    Cons: A bit dated, with some deferred maintenance. It was probably quite elegant when it was built.

    One tip a,day should be sufficient!

    Pros: Location Front line staff
    Cons: I always left 20 pesos for a tip for the maid every day but when the lovely young maid changed floors, I noticed the 20 pesos I left for the next day started dissappesring too. There was no reason for maids to be in the room once it had been cleaned and fresh towels delivered. In fact they were srealing from me and I resented it hugely and asked to change rooms.Sure enough as soon as I checked out of my new room, one of the older maids immediately entered my room and I had only been gone in less than a minute. She had no business being in the room other than to search for money and left overs. However for the maid I liked and had a rapport with I left Kahlua, vodka, large bottle of fresca etc. Front desk staff great and always helpful. Night staff also pleasant.

    For only the truly budget conscientious traveler

    Pros: Location was the only good thing about this hotel.
    Cons: Very rarely have I showed up to a hotel and literally turned around and checked out. In lieu of making a bad review for the sake of being bad, i will just say it did not meet my expectations at all, nor what i had seen prior to booking it. You really do get what you pay for.

    We enjoyed our stay and would return if we are in PV in the future.

    Pros: It was quaint, interesting, clean and friendly.
    Cons: The beds were a bit too firm. The toilet lid in #45 would not stay up.

    This is a crash pad. Clean and cheap place to stay if you dont need to spend much time in the hotel
