    Good location and low price but low quality of facilities, old

    Pros: The location, is very good. Also the price is very low. So if you have low budget it's a good option.
    Cons: I book the 50sqm room, this room size is not in the hotel building but in one of the service apartment buildings - this is a very big compound, only 1 building it normal hotel, the rest is normally used for longer term rent. If I remember correctly the hotel building has better condition but the rooms are smaller (around 20-25 sum). I'd rather take that if I go there again, but generally speaking, you should expect low level of internal design and facilities. The worst with a very very slow internet. The location, on the other hand, is very good. Also the price is very low. So if you have low budget it's a good option.

    Shanghai hotel

    Pros: The room was large and comfortable. There were plenty of staff to help out. It was cleaned with fresh linen and towels daily if requested . The view from the balcony was amazing
    Cons: The whole of Shanghai suffers from pollution and this was reflected in the room which , although cleaned daily was always a bit dusty.

    Pros: The location is very close by to the metro station.
    Cons: The reception staff does not speak proper English. Had a tough time checking out early in the morning as the staff present could not communicate in English. They charged my credit card a rounded of amount at checkin as deposit. I paid off the exact amount through another credit card but the concerned staff did not return my deposit card slip which was signed. Hope they do not charge me twice

    Pros: The location was great. Just across from subway station and easy to access attractive spots. Tianzifang, French concession and other spots either.
    Cons: General service was terrible. Hard to communicate in English. I paid cash when I check-in and they said they dont have enough cash for my changes. So they promised me pay back my change when Im check-out. And when Im check-out they didnt pay my change. I asked them my change but they kept denying. So some staff called someone (i think its manager) and the manager suddenly ask for my passport again to check my personal information and it was very rude. And finally i take my change after few minutes later. They didnt apology. I feel horribly bad.

    Cons: Hotel is rundown. when I started staying there over the last ten years I have seen that the owners are not doing any type of upgrade. Wallpaper is coming lose, veneer lifting from furniture, sofa is filthy and bed is marginal. Shame it is like this.

    Pros: Nothing. It was terrible. Definitely not a 4 star like indicated.
    Cons: It reeked of smoke, it was dirty, the room was tiny, the staff was unfriendly. The worst hotel I've ever booked and visited.

    Pros: the is nothing to complaint about the location.
    Cons: they really did bad on the cleanness. i got bite by flea or other bugs. the room is pretty old and need upgrade. the wifi in the hotel is just a joke. you need to reconnect the wifi every five minuntes.

    Pros: The price & the location.
    Cons: The room smelled like cigarettes. The shower was moldy. It reminded of a cheap motel in the US, including the price. However the location was fantastic. The balcony was also nice.
