Relaxing getaway with amazing spa!

Pros: This was my second stay. I loved the location , the separate island, the level of privacy and isolation and of course the spa that comes with very relaxed atmosphere. If you are looking for getaway or small retreat this is a perfect place.

Cons: Compared to my previous place , some parts of spa were closed due to reconstruction, there is still a lot to do and enjoy, and it does not take away from the atmosphere, hopefully all for good changes coming up.

Cons: It was really cold in the room when we got there. AC was running even though it was cold outside. Temperature in the room was 16 degrees! No salt & pepper for breakfast

Cons: Dark and depress room, in the basement (SS) there was no any ventilation in the room ( although it was non smoking room ) but the room smells smoke they put a humidifier machine but it makes room very noise and hot , in the bathroom there is no ventilation,the buffet breakfast doesnt have any vegetarians option( just omelet, bacon, sausage) no cheese , no choice of hot beverage ( just simple coffee and one type of lemon tea) , I paid $650 for two nights , the restaurant has limited choice of food and it was $60 per person so we went out for dinner and lunch, the two bridges connects to the location are very narrow ( 2.5 meter wide, just pass one car at the time) and if your car is big ( wide) cannot pass the two bridges.

Great location for a getaway. Breakfast was delicious! Fees applicable for spa access.

Cons: In addition to breakfast, I wanted the pool. So inside the filter was morning cadence and swimming pool. When he finished, the pool had left and entered as part of the SPA on site. 35 CAD per person + Tx. Gave almost 90 CAD more!! This is nonsense. 90 CAD to be able to be in the pool. the value would already be almost 400 CAD. 400 CAD for me to stay inside the room? This needs to be revised urgently!!

Pros: The breakfast was excellent! The beds were very comfortable, with quality linens. Large, fluffy white, monogrammed towels, nice touch. Several Desk staff had a poor command of English.

Cons: We had to pay $35 per day, each, for use of the spa, sauna, pools. Until May, it had been included. The room cost on the weekend doubled, because Formula 1 racing was in town. We were there for my companion to have hip surgery, but were still charged double. Our bill for 5 nites was around $2k. Too much, in my opinion. Our first room in the basement level, had a black ant problem. Our 2nd room, on the 2nd floor was lovely, gas fireplace, great ambience. The Oasis is on a private island, but very convenient to the highways. Beautiful grounds, though in need of more attention.

Lovely location, and hotel. The spa did look nice but the resort fee was too steep.

Pros: Room was very comfortable with the only issue my preference for a slightly firmer mattress. It was also well appointed, with water provided, a bathmat for the shower, for example. Breakfast was good, with both sweet and savory options.. The hotel also had food available in the evening, at reasonable prices. I did take advantage of this and the food was good and well presented. The island location is very pretty.The location may not be for everyone, but we liked it, since it is not hard to reach from Highway 13 and works for us since it is on the west side of Montreal and suits us for a return to our home base in Ottawa.

Cons: We did not know til we arrived that we could not use the pool without paying the resort fee (somewhere around $40). So we don't know how good it or the spa would have been. Breakfast service doesn't start until 8:15 and nothing is provided beforehand, even coffee. There was a Keurig in our room but we couldn't get it to work and there was no milk. and that morning, the start of breakfast was delayed. Staff did get us coffee while we waited for breakfast.. There were no gluten free bread options, though my husband was able to do ok because of the eggs, sausage and fruit options. (We had pre-advised of the gluten issue but we did reserve the same day, so perhaps it was too late to purchase extra materials..) My husband, though, could have nothing he could eat in the evening, except salad. The access for the hotel might be scary for some people. The bridge to the island is narrow, with about 3 foot walls.

Interesting location on an island. Good restaurant nearby.

Cons: The exterior of the building was tired. It may have been in the midst of a refreshment, needed paint.
