Large, modern, clean hotel rooms with a helpful and cheerful staff.

Pros: Sixth floor room with a large and open balcony had a gorgeous nighttime view. Breakfast was very good. A lot of options. Breakfast staff worked hard. Mario, the bellman was extremely personable and cheerful. Location near the very large shopping mall was convenient. Anything you would need for almost any reason would be in there.

Cons: The temperature could not be adjusted lower than 20C 68F. It still felt a little warm and humid in the room. A pedestal fan (it could be stored in the large closet) would have been nice to have.

Pros: We stayed for just 1 night because we had a flight the next morning. Breakfast at 6h30 and parking underneath the hotel are a big added value.

Pros: Room was great. It was a great location and a clean hotel space. Pool area was also very nice. Amazing breakfast included with the room stay. Great location, walking distance to malls and markets, and lost of amazing food locations.,

Cons: It is about 2 km close to a harbour. There is no beach access anywhere close to this hotel. Need to use an uber to get a beach. So the booking reference of being close to a beach is misleading.

Pros: Nothing really.Really rundown place, too expensive for the value received.

Cons: See above-mentioned freezing pool, there no gym equipment. Unfriendly security staff and the ones serving breakfast they lack of customer service. The cleaning and reception staff was a little more friendly than everyone else.

You are better off getting a hotel on/near the beach

Pros: It was clean. The breakfast was decent. The concierge was helpful. They also have a few vetted cab drivers that they call when you need a ride and they will tell you up front what to pay.

Cons: The room was missing a sofa - it was a large room with half of it empty - in the pictures when I booked, it showed a sofa there. The hot water situation is a bit strange - we were just getting cold water - had to call reception - a maintenance guy came up and said that the hot and cold pipes were reversed and we sometimes we would need to let the water run for 5-10 minutes to get hot water. The neighborhood (not something the hotel controls though) is kind of run-down and there are not a lot of good restaurants around. We stayed here as our Chichen Itza tour listed this as one of the hotels that they pick up from, but if we had to do it all over again, we would stay in the Hotel Zone near the beach.
