An excellent place for a relaxing holiday

Pros: The room was very comfortable and spacious (we had a classic room). Lots of space for storing clothes etc. A terrace with easy chairs to sit outside. The location was great. We went on lovely walks, starting from the hotel. The near by cliffs are spectacular and the spring wild flowers were in full bloom ( late March). We particularly liked the hotel restaurant which was excellent. Lovely food, menu changing everyday.

Relaxing Visit

Pros: Our hotel room, relaxing outside in the front patio and seeing sunrise, was one of the best moments. Staff was great, room size exeptional, The room was heated on our arrival, lots of lovely cats around. A nice gesture by the hotel to give a complimentary drink at the bar. Our needs were attended to, and we had a great stay!

Cons: Suggestions for improvement: Breakfast was good. We expected better for a 5 star, presentation and something which makes hotel unique like in-house made goodies, not just the ordinary you would expect. The heated room could be regulated better. At times, it was too hot. Finding that sweet spot temperature for your guests without the need to regulate it would be ideal. The spa was great. However, restrooms in the spa area could have been taken care of more often, as we found them filthy. The indoor pool could be heated a little more in winter months. Once outdoors, we could still feel cold.

Pleasant stay in a natural setting. With many cats.

Pros: The hotel itself is cut off, in the middle of nature, and overlooking beautiful cliffs. I enjoyed the sunrises.

Cons: Can't say there was something I didn't like, but the "games room" (a tiny white washed room with a billiard table and fuse ball), was very very dull. They should either close it off, or add some love to It... a feature wall, a painting, a couch? Anything that can make it more inviting. It's only an "issue" becasue it's a 5 star hotel, and in my opinion, everything accessible to the guests should be top notch.

Not bad for one night

Pros: The reception staff are friendly and welcomed us in. The room was spatious and we had both a bath and a shower. Free parking is also a plus. The room was clean and the thermostat kept the room at a perfect temperature.

Cons: We ordered breakfast in bed and the food arrived cold and there were missing items and incorrect items. The double bed was two singles pushed together. We were disappointed with this considering the price we paid.

Beautiful place to stay while on Gozo. Cats, views, walks and a great breakfast!

Pros: The spa was excellent for relaxing at the end of the day and we were particularly happy that they didn't allow children there after a certain time so it was very peaceful! Breakfast was lovely - a good selection and the location at the cliffs is beautiful. Just a short walk away and you are at the most stunning cliffs on Gozo. We watched several sunsets there and joined a few of the walking trails. There are a lot of very friendly cats at the hotel too :)

Cons: There was some maintenance going on but nothing noisy that bothered us. Just one of the pools was not in use but really it was ok as it was not the time of year for using the outdoor pool.
