Pros: Beach was kept clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and eager to help

Cons: They played loud music until very late. There was a constant pounding of the bass that was quite obnoxious.

Cons: Loud music until past 330am on the Friday from the bar behind. Access to hotel after 11 via the beach was poorly lit and did not feel comfortable doing so. Room was not cleaned which meant overflowing.

Pros: Beyond great place , made my holiday going to the next level and Im a Genius 3 level and the owner of 40 Hotel - apartments on Booking.com . Sevice and staff was amazing. Actually we didnt leave the hotel for almost 6 days , they gave us , more than what we wanted. This is the place to be on Holbox and I cant wait to be back..

Pros: Amaite is located right on the beach with fantastic views. Place was clean. Check-in process was smooth and easy. Friendly staffs welcomed and showed us to the room. Bar and restaurant at Amaite are the highlight. Everything is served at your beach chairs. They have a happy hour from 5 to 7PM. Food options were very good and customizable. Since we were vegetarians, all our orders were customized. Friendly staff always asked our requirement and clarified everything. All the attractions are minutes away from Amaite. Our room was very big and had two king sized beds for our family. Shower was pathetically slow (minor issue). Hope to visit again soon. *Check your final invoice before paying, I was charged extra which I did not use.

Pros: Amaite Beach Hotel's location exceeded my expectations. Not only were the hotel grounds so beautiful right in front of an amazing beachfront, but the food was so good and the breakfast was so much food the location was perfect. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

Cons: We are rent presidential studio with jacuzzi which one don't even feel up , after we ask someone coming with dirty (schoes and try sort this out they walking few times . My ring disappeared I am sure where I was put in that's big red flag for me . I never write negative comment . But it's this time it's a lot things. Music is soo loud - 3 diffrent type of music they finish arround 3.00 am. Think before u book in

Great place in paradise!!!

Pros: Great location on the beach. Room #1 was upstairs with excellent views and a balcony. Mario at the front desk was extremely helpful with all our needs. The food was good but we also wanted to eat in town which is only a few minute walk. We rented a golf cart to explore the whole island and Mario set that up for us as well on arrival. The staff let us stash our luggage in the lobby lockers on the last day so we could explore an extra day. If you stay here you're also only a few minutes walk from the letters Holbox where everybody gathers to take pictures and watch the sunset on the pier. Truly a fantastic place in paradise!!!

Cons: The only issue we ever had there was one of the waiters that was under the impression that the 15% gratuity was what we had to pay but it was cleared up by Mario and he let them know that was a voluntary amount they put at the bottom of the check as a suggestion most places in Mexico are 10%, but you really need to watch the bills sometimes they add that number you think that's what you have to pay but it's not and we experience this all over the Yucatan this is not a issue with just this one restaurant you will find this everywhere you go, just know YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR BILL before you pay it. MOST FOREIGNERS look at the number at the bottom and think that's what you need to pay but that's with their 15% suggested gratuity or tip. If you enjoyed your service 10% which is easy math for anyone is what you should pay. If they go above and beyond as always anywhere in the world you should give extra. In Mexico we were somewhere between 20 and 50 pesos extra depending on what they did for us. The peso to dollar rate was $17 pesos to $1USD while we were there.
