Comfort Inn is the hotel brand under the Choice Hotels group that was founded in 1981. The company was launched to be able to fill in the gap in proving more lodging facilities to a growing demand in the mid-range hotel brands in the United States.     Would recommend but check your...

    Pros: Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. Night & morning staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean & good location.
    Cons: The window in our room would not close to prevent intruder. No latch , nothing. We were very tired by the time we arrived & got checked in and unpacked and when my partner went to close the curtains he noticed the window was open. I had already laid to to go to sleep and didn’t feel like moving rooms. He put the trash can in front of the curtains so if someone tried to climb in it would knock the trash can over & wake us up but unfortunately he never was able to feel secure enough to go to sleep & get rest.

    Pros: Location was convenient to downtown Asheville. Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was great.

    Outside of the terrible night...

    Pros: Location and cleanly
    Cons: We had an incident at 11:15pm one evening. People were outside our first floor window having a loud and obnoxious fight. We called the office and were told they would check it out. The fight continued another 20 minutes and my husband got dressed and went down to the office. The front desk attendant told him he got busy and forgot. He finally went down and made the couple go inside. I don’t believe the attendant was that busy that late at night. Made for a terrible night sleep.

    Pros: Clean and the bed was super comfortable the staff was helpful courteous and great.
    Cons: The only complaint is the breakfast and the staff member assigned to it. Both mornings we went down to eat 30-45 minutes before it closed and there were no eggs. I understand a little closer to 10 but at 9:15 I expect eggs. The staff person assigned to the breakfast sat in the kitchen area near the sink on his phone and made no effort to get any eggs or help with the waffle batter. Also the waffle batter was so thick both mornings it barely of any came out making me think it was out even though it wasn’t. Overall breakfast was a 3 out of 10. Everything else was fantastic.

    Cons: People upstairs ran around and made noise early in the morning. Sounded like a kid running.
