Pros: The bed.

Cons: The room map showed room 129 to the right of another line of rooms but 129 was on the second floor with no signage to show where 129 was. The room map showed what looked like a stairway to 129 but that stairway went elsewhere in the hotel. You 're supposed to have 100 series rooms on the ground floor and 200 series rooms on the second floor. Have NEVER seen this at ANY hotel I have ever stayed at. Very confusing. When I got to my room, the TV was on a dresser set 6 feet back from the corner of the bathroom which was too far from the bed and if left there, someone on the other side of the bed would only see half of the TV. I had to pull it away from the wall to view it. There was a crack in the bathtub wall that needed sealing. The shower head had no center stream which means I had to bob and weave to lather and rinse off. I tried to call the front desk on my cell phone 3 times because I lost the paper that had the Wi-Fi password AND the in-room phone had no wire from the phone to the wall. It was cut off from the wall. The calls went to voicemail. I eventually found the paper. AND when I got home and cleaned up, I found the soles of my white socks were dark brown meaning how unclean the floor of the room was. All of this for $141??!! BTW,

Cons: The bedding wasn’t clean. Something bit me and left trailing bite marks. Possibly bed bugs. I asked the staff to clean the room but they didn’t do so.

Cons: Where do I begin? The stay began on Thursday. The fact that I called ahead of time & was assured my wife would get an early check-in, but the room was not ready at 2:30pm. The person I spoke with was advised my wife was there b/c her father was on hospice, so would need 1. an early check-in & 2. a separate room or at least quiet to rest during this time. The 3 police cars that were there due to an incident with an infant. The couple next door to my wife's room who fought ALL NIGHT LONG, & "made up" all morning. When my wife called the front desk multiple times during the night & was told they knew who they were, they stayed there often. HANDLE IT!! DON'T LET THEM BACK!!!! Her room was moved to a king size suite. When I called the Saturday morning advising I was on my way & that we needed to extend the stay, I was advised there was a pull-out couch for our daughter. When we opened the pull-out couch, it still had the linens from the previous person. It was covered in food crumbs. We did not have cell reception at all in the room & while this may not seem to be a big deal for some, trying to be in contact with family after losing our father was beyond important. The phone in the room wasn't even connected!We checked out on Monday morning. When I advised of the dirty linens on the pull-out couch, I was advised I should have told them I needed new linen. No! You should have it clean!!! When I advised that our room was never cleaned from Saturday on, I was told they only clean every 3 days for a long stay. We were never advised that when we checked in on Thursday or when we extended our stay. Our suite had sliding glass doors that went to a court yard. That area was littered in empty beer cans that were never picked up. This location is obviously a place they let people live, not stay on a vacation, or to be with family in their final hours.

Clean motel with great staff...

Pros: The hotel is clean with reasonable rates and close to everything. There is a foot path in the back that takes you right to a small strip mall with a grocery store, some food, and a Walmart. Dowtown Bennington is just a short drive away. The rooms are mostly motel-style, but comfortable and clean. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming.

Cons: Best Western hotels are known to offer decent free breakfasts but not this one. It has few options, runs out, and looks like something out of a Motel 6. I still choose to stay here whenever I visit, but seriously, skip the breakfasts and save yourself the disappointment. Enjoy the tasty options Bennington offers and skip the "breakfast" for a much better start of your day.
