Pros: We had a wonderful stay at the Astan Hotel Taksim! Location is the best - quiet street and at the same time in just couple of minute walking from the busiest Istiklal street and Taksim square. Hotel manager and the receptionists are exceptionally friendly, they know for sure what the hospitality is! Check-in, breakfast, city information, additional information about the room facilities - everything was great. Hotel is very clean, quiet and the room is very spacious. Breakfast felt like a little celebration - copious, delicious and beautifully served. We are also very grateful for the possibility to use the Istanbul card, this was very convenient. Dear Gker, Hseyin, Zahur and Nicat, thank you very much - you made sure that we had the most comfortable stay in Istanbul! I recommend this hotel to anyone who like small range, cosy hotels with the personal touch. If again in Istanbul - this is our place to stay!

Pros: Reception staff were all very nice and helpful, smooth check in & out, room was clean, decent size, nice large balcony on the 5th floor, nice location, very safe, room has everything you need for comfortable stay (safe, mini fridge, coffee maker, tea, etc)

Cons: I wish they provided extra towels but they provided when I requested, shampoo & hand soap only, so bring your toiletries

Pros: It wasn't my first time to this amazing Hotel , and as expected i had a blast . I will classify my stay based on the below : Staff: You will never find more trustworthy and dependable staff in Istanbul, from giving you an honest opinion to tips about what to eat or what kind of Sim card you should get. very helpful and friendly team. Location : The hotel is in the middle of it all , from Taksim Square to Istiklal street , you can pretty much access most the city attraction from Taksim metro , also there are many lovely cats outside the hotel which made my stay a lovely stay , especially the three legged tabby cat. The room : I stayed at room 102 , it was really spacious , a bit rowdy at night due to alot of teens passing by from the nearby university , but you can easily sleep throu the night ,the room was equipped with everything you need , from coffee maker, fridge to an iron to use for your cloths. Overall i will definitely stay at this hotel the next time for sure . they are usually fully booked , but try to book earlier.

Very comfortable room in a good location.

Pros: Excellent and prompt communication before arrival. We informed the hotel that we would arrive very late and reception was open and waiting for us on arrival. Check in was easy, wiith clear instructions for using the safe and coffee machine. The room was large, with a pleasant design. Beds were very comfortable, some of the best we've had in any hotel. The bedding was plump and of good quality. The room had efficient air conditioning. Clean sheets and towels. Bathroom was more compact but with a decent sized shower. The property has a lift. Location is excellent, 5-10 minutes walk from the metro, close to a few restaurants and easy to get to local attractions.

Cons: Overall a very nice hotel, and definitely recommended, so just a few small things that are more suggestions than criticisms. The room has large windows, but was surrounded by buildings, and might be expected in a busy city. It could have been overcome with good lighting, but it was a little dim. Housekeeping forgot one or two items each day, though we could easily get then from reception. Breakfast was nicely presented, and we understand that there is not room for a full buffet. However, it meant receiving things you might not want to eat. The hotel adapted the breakfast when asked on our second day, but perhaps it would be better and less would be wasted if guests had a list of options to tick or, since many item were in a small pot anyway, perhaps bring round a tray with then on so guests could take the ones they wanted. Only limited bathroom toiletries provided, with hand soap by the basin and only shampoo in the shower with no shower gel or soap.

Great hotel

Pros: Is the second trip at this hotel. Everything was great. Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and big room. Close to Taksim Square, about 5 min walk. I will come again next time.
