We loved our stay at Aristella and would definately stay there again if we come back to Switzerland.

Pros: The beds and pillows were lovely and soft and comfortable. The view was perfect and the balcony added outdoor space. The seating area in the room was very comfortable after being out all day walking.

Cons: It was a very hot spell when we were there (which I dont think happens too often) and the room was too warm which made the duvet too hot to use and there was no other sheet or blanket to use for cover. That is the only minus I can say about this lovely hotel.

Pros: This family run hotel is in a very good location for the centre, station and train/lifts for access to the mountains. It is beautifully appointed and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It has its own restaurant which is very high quality. The breakfasts are also excellent in quality and choice. We had a top floor room with balcony overlooking the Matterhorn.

Cons: We can't think of anything we did not like about this hotel.

Pros: Super clean and new and in a great location. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was great.

Cons: Honestly, its incredibly overpriced (and over hyped) for what you get. It is clean and it is totally fine, but in no world is this a 4-star establishment or 4-star rooms. The whole place feels like a Holiday Inn Express but twice the price. We have stayed in other 4-star lodging properties in Zermatt which properly reflected a 4-star luxury experiencewhere all the touch points have been considered and you walk into your room and say, wow! No so with Hotel Aristella. Dont get me wrongits a fine space and it served its purpose. It just should have cost a third (or half) of what it dideven for Zermatt prices during the peak season. Its a 3-star experience (at best) but again, clean and totally fine.. just not special.

Lovely welcoming hotel

Pros: I was travelling together with my elderly mother so the modern twin room with a walk in shower was excellent. The hotel provided a nonslip mat and a bar or soap on request as she couldnt squeeze the soap tube provided and was afraid of slipping in the shower. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was first rate.

Cons: Its a shame the shuttle service cant be booked after 5pm. But there were plenty of taxis around.

Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable, and what we hoped for.

Pros: The hotel is well situated. The staff was very nice. The room exuded a chalet charm with tall ceilings and wood beams, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a tub, separate shower and a towel warmer. We were able to enjoy the balcony and view of the Matterhorn. There is a sauna/spa on the property, however we did not use it. One of our family members used it daily and thought it was great!

Pros: It is very rare that I would rate a hotel as perfect but Hotel Aristella deserves that rating. The staff are warm, friendly and ever so helpful. The rooms are perfectly clean and simple and supplied with everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. I particularly like the extras that make staying here, very special. For instance they have a menu of different types of pillows to choose from. And small drying racks in the bathroom for personal hand laundry. The complementary breakfast and coffee service is very tasty and good value. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Zermatt to stay at this lovely hotel.
