    The experience at the hotel...

    Pros: Had a spacious room with two double beds facing Empire State Building Walkable to most of the attractions we wanted to visit Housekeeping was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again .

    Pros: Its the best location in Manhattan. The atmosphere at the hotel is cool, and also quiet. Its great it has a very good coffee place right in the hotel, and also a juice bar.

    Cool vibe but needs to...

    Pros: Cool vibe, great location. Walkable to a few different subway stations. Friendly staffs. Two queen bed room was spacious, cozy feeling more like an apartment than a hotel room.
    Cons: Too dark. Lobby, hallway, reception and room were all very dark. As I read in other reviews, everything was getting old. Our bathroom sink was clogged so the water wouldn’t drain very well. Shower tiles were cracked, the cushions smelled dusty. It took me three calls to the front desk to have extra towels and blankets. No ramp in any of the entrances. It’s quite silly for a hotel because most travelers have suitcases. We had a stroller so it was stressful. Not family friendly. I booked early and got a good deal so it’s ok, but if I had paid full price I would’ve been pretty disappointed.

    Centrally located, but small rooms

    Pros: The location was super central in Chelsea. Easily walkable or able to us public transport. A 15 min walk from Penn Station.
    Cons: Hotel was very clean and vibey however the room was very small for the price, but I guess that’s NYC for you.

    Pros: This hotel has really cool vibes! So many restaurants attached to the lobby if you need to grab something to eat. The lobby area was always busy. Room itself is all the space you need to rest your head. Decor is very dorm like vibes.
    Cons: Bathroom needs better lighting. Not much soundproofing from the hallway, door doesn't seem that heavy. Good luck trying to find a place to work in the lobby, it is frequented by locals doing work - which is a great that it is authentic but hard to get stuff done.

    Pros: lovely team, best in NY!
    Cons: my room facing 29th street what I always have, but the room was amazing as always what I have but missed by view I'm used to when staying at the Ace.
