Norlandia Hotel Group is a hotel chain with 37 establishments scattered throughout the Scandinavian region. 25 of these are in Norway, 9 are in Sweden, and 3 are in Denmark. In 2008, during fall, they decided to invest in several brand names in the chain. Norlandia as the chain did not prevail, actually. In spring of 2009, a number of the hotels under the hotel group still have Norlandia in the name but others have turned into Best Western Hotels. However, the operation of the hotels is still responsible for Norlandia through the companies Norlandia Hotel Group, NorlandiaEiendom AS, and NorlandiaFatigheter AB. Another famous part of the brand name is their hotel for care patients.
