Gulf Hotels Group was incorporated in 1967 with aim on providing first class services and facilities by rendering the highest level of standards, offering warm hospitality and ensuring the utmost level of customer satisfaction with purpose of multiplying the group’s activities and expanding its portfolio. The group is headed by its chairman Mr. Farouk Yousuf Almoayyed and the Board of Directors includes distinguished, influential and well-established businessmen of Bahrain.
Gulf Hotels Group’s vision is to standardize the hospitality service on the island which was delivered accordingly with the opening of its first 5-star property in Bahrain, the Gulf Hotel. This philosophy has still remained though the Gulf Hotel as been altered beyond recognition, constantly upgrading and expanding to meet the demands of the modern day guests and tourists.
Gulf Hotels Group added to their property the high class Gulf Convention Center in 1997 and in 2004 expanded its group outside Bahrain by opening the Ocean Paradise Resort in Zanzibar. Other properties under Gulf Hotels Group are the Gulf Executive Residence, The K-Hotel, Bahrain Family Leisure Company, Asdal Gulf Inn, Gulf Executive Residencn Juffair and the recently opened Gulf Court Hotel Business Bay in fastest growing city of Dubai.
