About Mastcraft Group London
Mastcraft Group is a big name in the hospitality industry. It is led by Indian multimillionaire Joginder Sanger. Recently, his company purchased the historic Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor for £9.45 million. The Royal Bank of Scotland sold it to the group in 2011. The bank they bought it from has already sold a bunch of other properties they have acquired from the Hilton Group in 2001, and this particular sale made headlines. Mastcraft is now more than just an operator of hotel series but is an owner of one of the strongest pieces hotelier can add in their portfolio.
Joginder Sanger moved to the UL in the early 1960s to launch a small travel agency in East London. Not so long after, he broke into the top-end hotel market by buying the 4-star Washington Hotel in London’s Mayfair district in 1997. He has also made a close relationship with Hilton due to having signed franchise agreements for some hotels in the capital back in 2008. The man has always had a vision for expansions in his business, so he explored properties and life insurance markets. In 2010, Mastcraft was reported to have a profit rise of 163% to £1.2 million on turnover of£2.2 million.
