Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand followed in 1976. In 2002, Best Western Premier was just a sub-name for the cooperative’s expansion in Europe. That extension was obviously a success as the BW’s unparalleled hospitality earned them $6-billion annual revenue in 2012. That proof of the effectiveness of the three tier system brought the Best Western Premier Collection forward as its own line like a successor making its own name.
