The best time to visit Laem Ngop is during the months of December through January, for the perfect weather. The busiest months are usually January, May, and December. Tourists are least likely to visit in September.

Ko Rang is one of the most famous attractions in the area. It is an island with a few beaches. It has a small Buddhist shrine adorned with phallic fertility statues. Another interesting site to visit in the area is Ko Wai. It is a small island boasting with coral reef and sand beaches. A part of it is a nesting ground for birds. It also has a forest jungle.
