About Selenta Group La Presa
The Selenta Group of hotels is nothing if not large, creating an environment that’s designed to foster comfort and luxury in all their guests. Their flagship hotel was the Expo Hotel Barcelona which was opened in 1976 by Mr. Antonio Mestre. This single hotel alone contained a total of 423 rooms before being followed in 1984 in the New Centre of Valencia. This second hotel had an impressive 378 rooms.
Today, the Selenta Group manages a total of 7 hotels, each one as unique as the last but unified by the common goal of comfort and luxury. The brands under the Selenta Group include the SOFIA, the Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa, the OASIS Wellness & Spa, Sir Anthony, Mare Nostrum Resort, and the Gran Hotel Torre Catalunya. Strategically located in different parts of Barcelona, these hotels are practically landmarks, carrying their own history towards the 21st century.
