Mohamed Boudiaf International Airport is an airport operated by EGSA-Constantine and serves major areas and towns in Constantine, Algeria. The airport is located 5.6 miles at the southern portion of Constantine and 200 miles from Algiers. It sits 706 meters above mean sea level and originally built in 1943 as Constantine Airfield. The U.S. Army used it during World War 2 as part of its North African Campaign. It served as the headquarters of the XII Bomber Command and the supply and maintenance depot of the Air Technical Service Command of the U.S. Army.
