Avoid the male receptionist

Pros: The property itself is beautifully decorated, a hacienda style, very good location to shops, restaurants, trip Departures, etc... Nice swimming pool and outdoor area, comfortable, spacious rooms.

Cons: Ok, so my review will not be about the property but rather the staff. The night receptionist and the lady in the mornings are both super nice and friendly but should you need any help please avoid the male receptionist, who is by the way their manager, and only a manager can afford to be so rude, right? I wanted to extend my stay with one night and sent my extention request through booking that according to this receptionist has never been received (booking said, the property has not accepted my extention request) He then offered I can book on the spot at the reception desk, and I asked if he can match my booking. Com rate. He said yes but when he saw what booking would have charged me he said: no,no,no,no,no. And that was it. Another client walked in and he pushed me on the side and started to deal with the other client. I sat down waiting for them to finish but he visibly took his time and did not want to deal with me. I went up to my room and went down later but by that time he was gone. The next day the kind lady said, she heard that I wanted to check out earlier and that we didn't agree on the rates. DIDN'T AGREE? We didn't even communicate. He just ignored me. And despite his perfect English he thought I want to check out earlier? This was a very weird experience from a four star property. But the rest of the hotel is nice and cosy just avoid the male receptionist.

Pros: It had a very good decoration. The room was fresh, clean and comfortable. It has a parking lot. Close to a bike renting place and close to the restaurant and shop main road in Tulum.

Cons: It was far from the beach.

Good but not great

Pros: Staff was friendly and the room was pretty spacious. Parking was included as well and it has a nice pool.

Cons: The AC made so much noise it would keep you up at night. It would keep the room nice and cool but sounded like it was broken. Turning it off wasnt an option since it was very hot when we were there. Another thing that wouldve been nice to know in advance is that a new building is being built next door. Meaning that early in the morning youre woken up by drilling and hammering noises from next door. Also, a lot of debris from the construction site could be found in the pool.

The place is fantastic and the price is more than low.

Pros: Really clean, very comfortable. The pool is at the entrance of our bedroom door! Hard to believe but true and the water was nice and refreshing yet not cold at all. Kitchen was awesome with so much room and all the workspace and appliances we needed with espresso machine and coffee. Living room had a nice sofa and plenty of room to relax. Bedroom had a king bed; very comfortable and sheets were perfect. If you love a pool outside you bedroom to walk intoGo Here! You probably will not leave. I loved it and my tenth year in Tulum.

Stylish and comfortable hotel

Pros: Loved the pool. We spent some lovely mornings enjoying a dip and some time in the sun! Clean and stylish room with everything we needed for our stay in Tulum. AC worked well.

Affordable place with everything that you need

Pros: Great staff who took care of us and provided options for the room to address our AC requirements. Good location: close to everything, including the supermarket. It is a really great place for a short stay.

Pros: I loved that you walked out of the bedroom into the pool! Kitchen was well equipped, it was home from home but with a better interior design! Was gorgeous!

Oasis in Tulum centre

Pros: Beautiful shabby chic hotel with loads of character in the centre of Tulum. Close to the action but quiet. Nice pool area. Good beds, lovely room.

Cons: I JUST STAY ONE NIGHT AND THE MAID KNOCK THE DOOR AT 9 O`CLOCK. I THINK THEY SHOULD WAIT UNTIL CHECK OUT TIME. BUT EVERYTHING WAS NICE. THANKS
