Pros: The view from the balcony was stunning. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. Loved this hotel. A little far from the centre but you get free public transport and the buses go every 10 minutes from right outside the hotel. You can also walk it in 30 minutes if you dont mind the walk.

Cons: Im certainly not one to even leave a review, however I want to be certain that others dont get fooled as I did by this property. My friends and I had other less expensive options that even included breakfast in the area but we decided that this property as it seemed all rooms had views was worth the extra money as wed only be in Lugano once so we wanted to treat ourselves. This of course was not the case. Although the others travelling with me paid the same price & did in fact get a view. I did not. far from it. My room was at the very end of a dark hallway and was looking at nothing but cement & into a nearby apartment complex. I was very disappointed & as the hotel was sold out i was told there was nothing they could do. Ill also say that it wasnt just the view that was disappointing. The hotel is terribly old & outdated. the beds are horrible & the pillows are like pancakes. There is no coffee or even a kettle in the room, forcing you to pay for expensive coffee in their restaurant. The room was dark, dingy & musty smelling. Furthermore, there was never anyone at the bar & many of us waited patiently many times for over 20 minutes & ended up having to walk down to reception to ask if anyone was available so we could order. I was able to make a complaint and was told I could move to a room with a view for my last day however as we were gone all day & left first thing in the morning it seemed like more of a hassle to move everything for a few hours, by then I was just wanting to get my stay there over with and spent as little time possible in the hotel. Upon checkout I spoke with the owner as he was made aware of our issues. Although he was a nice enough man he had a rebuttal for everything I said. He was defensive & I just wanted to check out & head on my way with the hopes that I could go through this site to get some kind of compensation instead of an in person argument.

Middle range

Pros: The location was nice we could walk to piazza in 15 mins. Also there was a secure gated car park.

Cons: Rooms were outdated and too small. We only stayed for one night and left quickly in the morning. Lugano is an expensive area but this hotel doesnt meet the expectations of its price tag.

Enjoyable stay - we should have had longer to give ourselves time to explore the mountains

Pros: Small balcony from which we could see a partial lake view - swimming pool and restaurant all nice to have, good parking.

Cons: Quite a walk from the town with some hills.

Pros: Lovely character decor and the rooms were always cleaned to a high standard. Had a lovely pool area and it was nice to sit out there for breakfast.

Modern and clean with onsite restaurant within 1 minute of bus stop. Front desk staff very welcoming and efficient.

Pros: Sadly, I must say there was nothing i like about this hotel, is very dated, and needs a complete refurbishment or maybe put down and recreate a modern hotel reflecting on Lugano Enchanting Lake view.

Cons: First impressions entrance very cold welcome, It is very superficial and missing the main hospitality ingredients. The room was decent size The sheet in the bed was acrylic and was sticky and hot . I had a terrible night sleep. I definitely do not recommend this hotel to family and friends

Lugano is gorgeous!

Pros: Lugano is gorgeous! The views are impressive! The view from the room is nice, the view from the pool also. I recommend.

Cons: Breakfast should be a little different every day.. there should be more choice.
